In a program dedicated to craftsmen, France Bleu journalist Nathalie Helal gave the floor to our founder Virginie Varenne so that she could talk to her about canuts, the invention of Jacquard, but also about silks.
Alongside Lydie Ottelart , silk painter, and Bruno Denis, president of Denis & Fils and also partner of Philéone Tissus , Virginie spent almost an hour discussing the origins of silk, the role of the city of Lyon in the expansion of its production, but also its past, modern and contemporary uses.
