In our last article we told you about the origin and difference between synthetic and artificial materials.
Today we wanted to tell you about the ones we use the most at Philéone: natural materials!
They are called natural materials because they are of animal origin, like silk and wool, or vegetable origin like linen and cotton 🌾🐑🐛
Small cultural point: linen is the first textile material discovered (7500 BC), followed by wool (7000 BC), then cotton (5000 BC). Silk, for its part, is the last natural material discovered in 2640 BC
